SEC. 2. CRIMES AGAINST THE STATE.
(a) Capital Crimes. ---
(1) Attempted assassination of high imperial authority---Whoever attacks anyone high imperial authority with the intent to kill but ultimately fails is subject to execution.
(A) A high imperial authority member in the military is rank Century Commander or higher.
(B) A high imperial authority member in politics is rank mayor or higher.
(C) An attack is deemed attempted assassination if the victim is attacked with a weapon or almost killed.
(D) If the victim can be proven guilty of a major crime that justifies the assailant's actions then the punishment is waived.
(2) Assassination of high imperial authority---Whoever kills anyone high imperial authority is subject to execution.
(A) A high imperial authority member in the military is rank Century Commander or higher.
(B) A high imperial authority member in politics is rank mayor or higher.
(C) If the victim can be proven guilty of a major crime that justifies the assailant's actions then the punishment is waived.
(3) Attempted Coup---Whoever attempts to overthrow the ferrumian government is subject to execution.
6. Unsuccessful espionage: failed attempt to obtain restricted information- punishment: free all expenses paid to an imperial interrogation camp and being forced to tell everything they know about the enemy that sent them, then public execution (and pearling if aplicable)
7. Successful espionage: intentionally obtaining restricted information - punishment: on the spot execution (and pearling if aplicable) as they can't be allowed time to spill the beans

(1) Vandalizing government property---whoever vandalizes government property is subject to a 10 diemcomec fine or a day in an imperial jail.
